I think we put off Rome, because after all it's history is a foundation of western civilisation. I had seen it in Fellini films and history books so often I didn't feel the need to actually see it. I could have not been more mistaken. The difference between seeing smelling and hearing it. Is the difference between kissing your lover and getting a text from her. Rome is an adventure being assailed by beauty and history at every turn.

It’s amazing to watch Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter ranting in the parapets of a failed empire. They feel to realise an era has closed, and the pastor in chief W redeemed the legacy’s of Ulysses Grant’s and Richard Nixon, He holds the special title for incompetence and corruption.
Still it takes really big brass balls to hope that, there is a depression and an attack on U. S. Soil just to justify the crimes and abuses for the last eight years

Happy 09 rant

Happy New Year! We are rally hoping or a better one. It's been interesting  the primacy's were great theatre. I loved the  spectacle. I loved the fact that after electing Caeser Octaius(W)) not once but twice, that Caeser Tiberus( Mc Cain)  not elected to preside over the fall of the U.S.  even after adding Palin the "hockey Mom"millionairess populist I cheered for Obma and stayed up most of the night waiting or anoucement there's"a problem in Florida or Ohio."this never came and the world celebrated the return of free electionstothe U.S. 

I lived through a city with no power for 3 weeks  the aftermath of hurricane Ike.  I still wait for my  house to be made liveable. I will hope for a better tomorrow for all with all of my cynical heart.

      Mean while Obama gives a speech on the elephants in the room , race and religion. Very literate,such a contrast to the Bubba in chief.I find it insightful, and articulate.

     I work for a major finical institute, and I am Caucasian, and male. It seems after much travel,t seems there is nothing else in this country except "us  v.them" and you are  guilty by association.I am the "man" not so much because I am management but by the colour of my skin.

My friend is on stage Stevie Muree playing guitar. I am working hard talking to Judy and Jolene. I am talking our collective journey as hard as I can I am walking out in bliss the there of us passing bottle of crown Royal. Next a spiff is lit in the back of the SUV us rolling and playing. I am massively happy. I am sure how or why these things happen to me are just ecstatic when they do. I am just an average bloke in a pair of jeans and t-shirt, which seeks to save Africa .The women, are attractive and successful by the conversation we are having best friends, and middle management in different energy companies. I am ok , under employed and overeducated, I am sussing not their average fare. I also by the after in a luxury SUV three of us in varying stages of undress the embarrassed glances they may share much but this is the first time they’ve shared this.
