Ongoing sporadic journal of the overeducated, and underemployed. The title derived from Coupland’s description of cubicle land; the corporate ghetto. Random photos and thoughts. Left the ghetto, never happier. This still a work in progress

rape

I am humbled today reading women’s stories. I am outraged at how commonplace this is. I had a girlfriend who was stalked by a Deputy, and I managed to put him in his place.
Mumsy was crying one day after work she swore me to z
Secrecy, The fellow unfortunately had an accident a few days later. It seems a ruffian on a motorcycle drove him off the rode fortunately the time with his arm in a cast let him see the light.
I am wishing we had  “market justice” in India groups of women attack rapist with rusty knives cutting rapist genitals. Then rub chilli peppers
I am realising all the women I have known without exception have been raped.  Something this endemic must be societal. The maths does not support this being done by outliers. A society holding back and brutalising 50% cannot progress.  This cannot stand, be business as usual the cost is too high.
Women you are brave and humble and touch everyone reading your truths.  You are exposing everyday injustices; everyday monsters and that thing cannot survive in daylight.
