Ongoing sporadic journal of the overeducated, and underemployed. The title derived from Coupland’s description of cubicle land; the corporate ghetto. Random photos and thoughts. Left the ghetto, never happier. This still a work in progress

 Drought-22.05.22

Cut-off’s

faded

Tight

Like

Secrets held dear

cafe au lait tan

4-inch heels on gravel

bedroom eyes

In the car park

She’s speaking in tongues

nicotine-stained lungs

Too stoned to notice

I am too lost to care

I really have nothing to lose

We find each other

Then we lose each other

Then lost in each other

My phone is chuffed with things that can wait (n angry accusations bitter)

Laying bed, I hear thunder

Waves of rain roof and window

Drought: a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, leading to a shortage of water

The drought has broken
